Our Story
In 2005, Matthew Wilhelm embarked on a journey that would redefine custom cabinetry in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Founding Emmco Kitchens Inc. in Middletown, New York, the staff, with a shared passion for craftsmanship, transformed kitchens across the region under a consumer friendly banner. Leah Russo joined almost immediately after the company’s founding.
Fast forward to 2023, and a pivotal decision reshaped their trajectory. Matthew and Leah, fueled by a commitment to innovation, parted ways with his previous employer, returning to the simple principles of Emmco Kitchens Inc. This transition brought forth a new entity, Structured Cabinetry, signaling not just a business move but a dedication to evolving design principles.
The turning point in 2023/2024 marks Leah Russo's official partnership. Her prowess in design, planning, and construction became a cornerstone as the company underwent a transformative phase. The main showroom, now situated in New Paltz, became a hub of creativity and strategic planning.
The new showroom in New Paltz emerged as a testament to their commitment to excellence. Leah's vision took center stage in this eco-friendly haven, showcasing not only custom cabinets but also sustainable practices and personalized designs.
With Leah as a full business partner, the transition to an owner-operated model unfolded. The renewed focus on community-centered practices became a guiding principle, with active engagement in civic and philanthropic initiatives.
